The Young Family Athletic Center opened it’s doors in early 2024, with a ribbon cutting in February 2024. Since opening, the facility has been packed with tournaments.

Norman Public Schools launched the Oklahoma Aviation Academy, a comprehensive aviation and aerospace program for high schools students in 2022. Working with the University of Oklahoma, Moore Norman Technology Center and industry partners from both the public and private sectors, NPS will capitalize on Norman’s geographic location and rich history in flight.

Construction on the Young Family Athletic Center, a NORMAN FORWARD project, is in progress and completion is anticipated for early 2024. Located in University North Park, and conveniently located near several hotels, restaurants, and retailers, this new facility will be regional hub for youth sports.
